Amendments to The International Aeronautical and Maritime Search and Rescue (IAMSAR) Manual.

1. The Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) at its 109th session approved the amendments to the International Aeronautical and Maritime Search and Rescue (IAMSAR) manual, volume I, II and III vide MSC.1/Circ.1686.

2. These amendments will be applicable with effect from 01^st January 2026.

3. Ship owners/ operators and masters are advised to be guided by above and ensure that updated IAMSAR manual Volume III is placed onboard by 01^st January 2026.
