Our classification rules are simple and comprehensive, based on research supported by data collected from industries and on board ships,  and cater to a wide variety of vessels ranging from FRP boats, offshore supply tugs to LNG carriers. Our rapidly growing network of offices around the world enable us to service your ships in all ports and shipbuilding / repair yards.

We carry out statutory design appraisal, survey and certification on behalf of flag administrations when authorized by the Governments of such states which are parties to various International Codes and Conventions. IRClass is at present authorized by 52 Flag Administrations to act as Recognized Organization (RO) on their behalf and is recognized by European Union.

Ships being built with considerably large number of components, often procured from international market and further operated throughout the world, it is necessary that your ship is fitted with approved material & products.
