IRClass presented “Signature Management Studies for Naval Vessels” in the session “Development of indigenous shipbuilding for the defence sector - The path to self-reliance” of webinar.

Presentation covered the Overview of simulation studies,present state of the art technology for signature studies,challenges faced and way ahead to overcome challenges.Various techniques such as Finite Element Analysis (FEM), Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) and coupled techniques were discussed in brief. Sample case studies of naval vessel signatures such as Underwater Radiated Noise (URN), magnetic signature and Radar Cross Section (RCS) were also discussed.
