NovaHULL

NovaHULL is a rule-based scantling calculation software that assists users in verifying the compliance of ship structures against the July 2024 version and later of IRS Rules and Regulations for the Construction and Classification of Steel Vessels. It supports the design of multiple ship types and also multiple frames of a single ship within the same file. The in- house developed OpenGL based modeller allows the User to create transverse sections which can be analysed for global strength, local yield and buckling compliance. It is capable of carrying out detailed iterative analyses of sections within a few seconds. The software is additionally capable of evaluating longitudinal strength and buckling analysis in diminished condition for thickness measurement (TM) and condition assessment (CAP) surveys
